Graft Definitions

A Replacement Graft is a Free Graft (either partial or full thickness).  It requires a device and is completely disconnected from the body.  Some of the body part must be removed.

A Supplement Graft adds a device to a body part.  No body part is removed.

A Pedicle Graft is a Transfer Graft.  It does not use a device and must stay connected to blood supply and nerves.
